AD A Well Earned His And Hers Treat With Boots

Well, what a year 2020 has been... I can not believe it's 2021 already and we are still in a lockdown, it only seems two minutes ago that the first lockdown was declared and we were all hoping this would be done and gone and we would be seeing some sort of normality by now. It seems though, that no one knows what's going on or what tier we are in, or what the rules are. After the Christmas we have all just had to - not really getting to see people or share any special time with our loved ones, it's certainly hit a lot of people's mental hard - mine included. Let's hope we can see some positive stuff in 2021 - well, after January's lockdown is over that is - and we can all begin to have an amazing year...fingers crossed... Anyway, sorry for the doom and gloom start but I promise you t...

Herbalife Skincare Review

If one thing this lockdown has taught me, it is that I need to look after myself a lot more than I normally do. I used to have a great grooming routine but over the last year or so I've been quite busy with work. Meaning any sort of routine went out of the window. So being in lockdown has given me that extra time to bring this routine right back and god I definitely feel the benefits. I look better and also feel loads better in myself. And this is all down to the Herbalife Unisex Skincare Products I have been using. If you have visited my blog before you may have seen that I have worked with Herbalife before, if not then please check out my post here. Also, don't be too quick to judge we have found they have some great products when used correctly. Like I said my skincare routin...

Looking After Yourself During Lockdown With Men-U

The market is absolutely flooded with men’s grooming products, from body wash to beard growth serum there is literally a product for everything. However, this is when the problem starts, the market gets saturated with poor products and it puts men who aren’t used to a skincare routine, off buying another one to try. Fortunately Carl and I have already done a lot of trialling for you, and there is one brand that always comes out on top. That brand is Men-U.   For those who are new to Men-U they were founded in the UK in 2001 that hold a vast range of products. Not only do they have a great range of products but they also come in various sizes. Meaning you don’t have to fill up your toiletries bag with huge bottles, their ‘buddy’ tubes are a great example. Compact 15ml tubes that pack ...

We Shaved! A Cut Throat Shaver Review

Most of you will know we both have a beard, but that doesn't mean we never shave. Unless you have perfectly shaped facial hair or your necklines are totally covered then at some point you will need to neaten it. This means decent razors and shaving supplies are needed, even for a bearded man. Although I wouldn't advise just buying a shaving kit for someone with a beard, they could take this the wrong way! However, a Shaver Review goes a long way to ensure you get the right bit of kit! So why line up? Some people complain that growing beards can look messy, this is where lining up comes into play. If you keep on top of your beard line, keeping to the natural shape of it but straightening or giving it a slight curve, depending on how it grows ensures you look well-kept. It literally takes...

In Need Of Some Male Grooming

Has anyone ever looked in the mirror and thought, what the hell is that looking back at me?   Well, this was me about 3 weeks ago, all I could think to myself was, Jesus I've let myself go! My skin looked awful, my hair and facial hair were a right mess and the bags under my eyes were shocking, I was honestly so embarrassed that I had let it go so far. Male grooming and looking after myself has been quite a passion for me since I started blogging and I loved trying out different products and seeing the effects they had on my skin, hair, and beard but sadly as of late I have really struggled for time and that means my grooming routine was me doing the bare minimum, so I was only using a face wash and I wasn't really taking care of my beard and I wasn't using any products at all on my hair...

ZEOS Beard Oil

This post is going back to my roots, well, to be honest, I could mean that in two different ways. Firstly, when I started blogging, I used to feature a lot of beard products and sadly that kind of stopped about a year and a half in, they always did really well view but I just struggled to create content for them and then secondly the products I will be talking about in this post are beard products and if you've used any sort of beard product before, you will know that they work their way all the way down to my facial hair roots and giving them some tender loving care :] I'm not the biggest beard oil user but I will always recommend using one, for me its just, I'm not a fan of having an oily beard, but what I do love, is the different fragrances they have but it's just the feel of i...

Male Grooming With Murdock London

It seems like an eternity since I last posted something about male grooming and the only reason for this is I haven't been taking care of myself. Not at all. Winter is our busiest time of year at work and because of this I haven't had a minute to myself lately - my life has just been working, work, work - oh and taking my son to rugby on a weekend too - if I wasn't working of course. My beard got all out of control due to neglect and I've only just managed to get it sorted out - check out this little video I recently published testing out my new electrical shaver. My skin feels old, which I'm not sure even makes sense but when looking in the mirror all I see right now is "old".It's getting a little out of control really. Don't get me wrong I don't want you to think that I ...

Male Grooming Essentials

As the colder days seem to be past us now it's quite likely that our skin is in need of some TLC. I know for certain that my skin has taken a battering from the awful winter chill so it has never been as important as it is now for me to have a set of good male grooming products in my life. Over the winter most of my days have been spent outside working, and my face is the only part of my body which hasn't been wrapped up from the often terrible weather. Two pairs of socks, thick work pants with long-johns underneath (on the very cold days), a tee shirt, jumper, fleece, wooly hat and gloves have formed my uniform most days. Definitely not the most fashionable attire but it helps to keep me nice and cosy. I'm not a fan of the cold at all and I don't think I will ever get used to bei...

My Great British Beard

It seems like I haven't posted anything beard related in ages, which is quite sad really because the last time I did, I said there would be something live on the subject every month at least. Unfortunately that hasn't happened because I kind of had a bit of a fall out with beard products, especially oils. All of the posts had begun to sound the same...I mean an oil is an oil no matter the brand - you use them all the same, they all come in the same kind of bottle with maybe a mix up happening in the applicator area, and if I'm being brutally honest a lot of them even have the same kind scent bar a few of those "lets be crazy to try and be different" kind of scents, but they just never seemed to work. In fact I fell out with beard products so much that I was turning down some reall...

Grooming Gift Essentials For Men

It's no secret that I do love to take care of my self and to do so, I use a lot of different products. A lot of time and effort goes into a proper daily grooming routine, especially with the colder weather just starting to hit. It's really important - especially in the outdoors type job that I do - to make sure all the areas exposed to the elements are looked after properly. The majority of my face is actually covered by my huge beard so the cold doesn't affect me too much really, but you may of noticed from a recent post I published that I do occasionally trim my facial fuzz. And when I say trim that means just that - trim - none of this shaving the lot of business for me. I am actually trying to grow my beard out at the moment, I want to create a nice shape so I only trim my lower nec...
