After falling in and out of love with blogging, I found myself in a place where I would much rather be modelling (not on the catwalk) than sitting at my desk writing. Recently I have found myself wanting to write again, however, I will be moving away from my usual blog content and into something new. I will bring you on my journey as I return to tabletop gaming.
What Is To Come!
Content-wise, I will cover everything from product news and reviews to events (where possible), battle reports from local games, and much more. If it’s tabletop gaming-related, then there is a high chance I will look into it. I will hopefully shine a spotlight on local gaming groups and local game stores as well. There are so many communities of gamers and local businesses that hold awesome events, game tournaments and even casualist hobby nights.
Alongside the above, I will also be sharing my journey into trying out new techniques. Now I know some of this isn’t new or groundbreaking, however, I thought it might be helpful for those who are either just starting up the hobby or coming back after some time out like myself. In this area, the posts that are likely to be on the blog the quickest will be related to 3D Printing with Resin. However, if there are other things you would love to see on here or local groups/shops you recommend, reach out via social media or leave a comment!
Recent Works
Most recently I have been working on my Kingdom Of Brettonia The Old World army and working on some new additions to my Necromunda House Of Goliath gang. The Bretonnians are my first ever, Warhammer Fantasy/Old World army I have ever painted and I never realised how much time it would take, even with batch painting the vast amount of infantry models there are. Having said that, it is allowing me to practice building, painting and then hopefully gaming. All of which I need after a while out of the hobby world.
Everyone Not Just The Emperor
So whilst this blog will have a focus on everything tabletop, I won’t solely be focussing on everything new to market. Product reviews (unless stated) will done when I pick up new plastic or equipment for the hobby. As I said above this blog will be for everyone, you will see nostalgic posts on things from the past – This could be old miniature restorations or even jumping into some old-school games. I might even be picking up tools/equipment that have been circulating for some time now, who knows – It will be a fun journey and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
