Welcome to my blog here is a bit about me! My name is Carl, A Yorkshireman who loves a good brew and tabletop gaming.
I started in the hobby many moons ago and have been blogging for quite some time as well. I thought it was about time I brought the two together and brought you on my journey of rediscovering tabletop gaming. It all started when I visited my uncle’s house, out on the table he had a Barbarian, a Wizard, a Dwarf and an Elf. As you can probably guess, I was about to start my first adventure in the iconic game – HERO QUEST!
From there, the rest is history. I have collected various armies over the years but never really got back into it in much depth as I have before. A little bit of painting here and there, but that is about it. Since the announcement of The Old World, I have been slowly growing a pile of shame (aka pile of opportunity). It started with the Bretonnia Army Box and more recently I have finally jumped back into games with friends in the Underhives with Necromunda. So join me as I start this new adventure within tabletop gaming and see what I get up to!
