Ginger Nuts Beard Products

Hey Guys  Since I started blogging I've done a few beard related posts, well I've done one every month actually, and surprisingly I've found that my readers really seem to like them - both male and female. I have had great feed back from guys saying they are wanting to start growing a beard and ask me what I would suggest is best or I get them saying that they have struggled to grow one in the past and they wished they had known about beard oil because it may have stopped the itchiness which caused them to give up and shave it off. Many say they are now going to purchase some oil and try again. I've also had feedback from ladies saying that they thought about getting, or have actually got some products for their partners after reading my posts. I mean I'm no expert on beard p...

Looking after my skin with Scaramouch & Fandango

Hi guys I hope you are all well. I've been on a little two week bloggeing break due to me doing a lot of DIY and home improvements  for our baby which is due in October, but now I'm back I would like to tell you about an amazing brand that has kept my face feeling super fresh and super clean throughout this grime, dust filled period.  The brand is Scaramouche & Fandango  To be honest I've never heard of the brand before, but after doing a bit of research - as you do when you get asked to review products - I was amazed to find out that they have featured in a lot of the top magazines such as GQ, Men's Fitness, You Magazine and many more which, I think is fantastic.  Also, finding out that product is produced in the UK is a big plus for me too. Scaramou...

Neville grooming products from Mankind

Hey guys. As my third month of blogging is coming to an end it's only right that I do my third beard oil post.  If you are a regular reader of my blog, you will know that I'm really loving my beard at the moment. But if your a first time reader you should check out my other posts on this in the Grooming Products label.  I think it's just coming up to my beards first birthday actually, I'm not fully sure when it is but I know it's was around May 2014 when I decided "Stuff it, I'm going to grow a full on beard and look awesome"  Since I started blogging I've used a few different things - first a minty bread oil and then a beard oil with a beard balm.  So what have I been using this month I hear you ask.... Well this month it's been...

Arbonne skincare product review

Hi all Today I would like to introduce you to a fab product I have been using to keep my face clean and fresh over the last few days.  I've been using a few new products lately, and to be honest my skin is looking and feeling better than ever. So what have I been using I hear you ask? ARBONNE  RE9 Advanced For Men Arbonne skincare products became reality in the United States in 1980 - just 2 years before I was born. Now the product is shared throughout the world through the Arbonne network of Independent Consultants.  I was asked by one of the Consultants if I wanted to review some products. I was sent 4 different products, all in 3 ml small tubes. But I could only review 2 of them due to the others being shaving products,  I have...

No more beard envy thanks to gruff

Beards My beard is about one year old now, but to be honest it only seems two minutes since I started growing it. But my beard has only just started taking shape since I began blogging really. I thought I had had quite a good beard until I started seeing pictures all over Twitter and this is where my first encounter of beard envy came.  Some of the beards I saw were amazing, they didn't even have to be big beards, even some of them that were smaller than mine looked amazing.  They were all so neat and tidy, I'd say kind of "glowing" in a way.  I wanted one of them beards! I was fed up of people asking me "When are you shaving your beard off" because it looked so scruffy. I lost count of how many times I had to say....... "I'm NOT"! So I got some...

SuperFish Hairstyling For Men

Hi all - I hope you all have had a great Easter weekend. For me it's been a bit of a lazy one, but it was great to spend time with my son and wife as they had been away on a 4 day break which I couldn't get time off work for. But it gave my time to play with a few new products whilst they were away so it was not all that bad. I think becoming a blogger has totally changed me as a person. I've never been too caught up on personal appearance, don't get me wrong I don't mean I go out looking like a tramp or anything, I just mean if I go out and haven't done my hair or my clothes don't go together then I didn't mind at all. Since I have started blogging I don't feel pressured to look good when I go places,  I want to. But I still wear clothes which don't go - I just do my ...

Every man requires a wing-man

I've been blogging about two months now and one of the main things I've noticed is that a lot of other bloggers have amazing skin. To be honest I have probably neglected my skin over the years. I mean I don't think I have got bad skin but possibly, it could be better. Let me take you back to when I was a teenager - when your skin goes through all sorts of changes. I never was a really spotty kid. I was the kid who had the one big spot every now and then - which to me was worse. I mean if you had a load of spots all of the time it never got mentioned but if you had that one big spot every so often it stood out like a male blogger at an event! :) I don't remember what face wash I used back then. It may have been just soap and water but it was a very long time ago. After my tee...

Osmo UK hair products

Life as a blogger is going really well for me at the moment - not only have I met loads of new, cool people and have had a bit of interaction with a few cool brands but it's really helped me get back on track a bit with my image  Growing up was hard, keeping up with all the latest hair styles especially when you have a thick head of hair like me   I have the sort of hair that needs a product on it to make it look half decent  That's maybe why I am so in to my hats  Growing up I went through many different hairstyles, crew cut - the most easiest to manage, dyed blond and shaved grade 2 all over - so I could look like my idol at the time Slim Shady, I also copied Scott from Five's spiky twists, and many more  I once grew my hai...

A Close Shave by Bearded Colonel

Hi guys for those who haven't noticed from my profile - I have a beard and it's been growing now for around 7 months, maybe a bit more, check out my beard progress on my Twitter page found here I've always had stubble but never a full beard  My beard is not the thickest but I think it looks OK and I get plenty of comments from people saying they like it and that I suit it. Which is cool because it's here to stay  The reason it's not the thickest I think is that when I was just a guy with stubble I never used to clean shave  I always just trimmed it, maybe grade 1 or 2, and have been doing this for at least 10 years now  I don't know if it's true or not but people say if you shave more your hair gets thicker!  I like my beard but...
